Requirements for Replacing a Lost or Damaged Number Plate

  • Tape Lift Report – Issued by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to verify vehicle authenticity.
  • Police Abstract – Confirms the loss or theft of the number plate. This is obtained at the Police Station nearest to you.
  • Affidavit – Sworn before a Commissioner for Oaths or a Notary Public.
